Minnesota’s First Congressional District stretches along the Iowa border from South Dakota to Wisconsin. This district is mostly rural and has a proud history of agriculture and farming. In recent years the district has seen a wealth of developments in renewable energy technologies.

This district is also home to the one of the world’s premiere medical facilities in the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. The first also includes other major cities such as Albert Lea, Austin, Mankato, Owatonna, Winona, and Worthington.
